Cheerleading • Grades K-5 • Spring 2026

Welcome to our cheerleading program, tailored for grades kindergarten through 5th grade! No prior experience is necessary -- everyone is welcome to join the fun!

Cheerleaders will learn 5-10 cheers and a sideline dance routine that will be performed together at halftime during flag football games on Sundays. Practice is held once a week on Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, with an optional additional practice day available.

Performance Times: Sundays between 12:00pm to 5:00pm (halftime performances at flag football games)

Are there discounts available?

Yes! We offer several discount options:

Family Discount: First child is full price, second child receives $10 off, third child receives $20 off, fourth child receives $30 off. Maximum of 4 children per family.

Scholarship Program: Financial assistance is available through our scholarship program. Please see the scholarship section on this page for more information and application details.

Any parent, guardian, or family member can sign up. Please look at our coach page for more information.

Are there requirements to coach?
All coaches must pass a background check. Coaches must know all codes of conduct, rules and player safety.

South Sound Flag Football Cheerleading K-5th grade

Dear Families,

We are excited to announce the launch of the brand-new cheerleading league as part of the South Sound Flag Football League! Our inaugural season will take place this coming spring, running from March 22nd, 2026 through May 31st, 2026.

The South Sound Flag Football League Cheerleading Program is dedicated to fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and community spirit. Our mission is to provide a fun, encouraging, and safe environment where children can learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. Whether your child is a seasoned cheerleader or new to the sport, our program is designed for all experience levels and welcomes everyone with open arms.

Throughout the season, our cheerleaders will have the opportunity to support their teams during flag football games, participate in exciting performances, and engage in skill-building activities led by experienced coaches. We believe that our cheerleading league will help develop not only athletic ability but also leadership and collaboration skills that will benefit our athletes both on and off the field.
